Pearl River sponsors benefit tour in Southeast Asia with Jonkgy Goei

Indonesian-born pianist Jonkgy Goei is the initiator of a series of benefit concerts for disabled children on the island of Sulawesi. The starting point was the support project of the Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS), a network of 23 churches and five mission societies in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Together with the Spanish pianist Francisco José Pérez Perelló and the 9-year-old up-and-coming star Zihao (Carlos) Zou, Jongky Goei put together a series of concerts in 6 major Indonesian cities, from Jakarta to the island of Bali. The finale was a piano matinee at the Leonhardskirche in Stuttgart.

The Pearl River Piano Group supported the project by providing selected concert pianos at the various venues. Among others, the Kayserburg 9′ Concert Grand KA275, a custom-built premium instrument and the top model of the Pearl River Piano Group, was played.
